South End Container Terminal
As Halifax has kept pace with the modern era, it has continually upgraded its infrastructure and equipment. The huge, bright orange loading cranes which dominate the South End Container Terminal are a vital part of the infrastructure which has kept Halifax competitive as a port city. I remember when they were built and thought then that they wrecked a significant portion of the view-planes from Point Pleasant Park, but now they represent for me, a part of what keeps Halifax a vital part of the Canadian and global economy.

Adequate lunch room. Chairs are a pleasant, jet black colour and really help contribute to the Feng shui vibe.It’s one of my favourite places to eat a ham sandwich and drink my coca-cola.I enjoy spending my lunch here with my fellow workmates while having lively debates about which way the toilet paper roll is supposed to hang.Spoiler alert: I am pro ‘toilet paper rolling down the front’
